Time Lasts (1997)

Original title: 시간은 오래 지속된다 · Released 1997-03-22 · 90 min · Drama · Rated 15 and over

Eight Koreans gather in a villa near Moscow to spend their New Year's vacation together. The Koreans, in their early thirties, were radically leftist students when they went to university 10 years before. All of them share a secret. One of them had betrayed the others. As a result, one of their friends, Jinho, had died. After the vacation, as they go back to their normal lives, one of them commits suicide. The incident lightens Joongki's pain, who had felt responsible for Jinho's death. As Joongki steps on the plane to return to Seoul, his lover Sunjae bursts into tears as she looks at a picture of her former boyfriend, Jinho.
